Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort Review

We stayed at the Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort for our son's "Kindermoon". The resort is currently under construction, but I can tell you that it didn't stop us from having an incredible time!
Although, we reserved a standard view room we were upgraded to a Pirate Ship room. If you have a little buccaneer who loves all things pirate these rooms definitely would put a HUGE smile on their faces! After all who wouldn't love to sleep on a pirate ship? These rooms are themed to the tee right down to the tv stand dresser made to look like crates and a rum barrel mini fridge, just as you would expect from Disney! The pirate themed rooms do have their advantages and disadvantages. These rooms are the furthest from the main pool, gift shop and main dining area. Even though the rooms are far from the main areas they do have a quick service dining, soda fountain, small pool and bus station very close to these rooms so you will not have to trek very far for these amenities.
We visited the Spy Glass Grill quick service dining during our stay. The kids split a cheeseburger and fries off of the kids menu and we had tacos.
We really enjoyed the tacos and found that they were reasonably priced and full of flavor! The kids cheeseburger however, left a lot to be desired and was lacking in flavor. As annual passholders at Disney we do have meals at the theme parks often and have ordered cheeseburgers before. These certainly didn't compare to their standard cheeseburgers, the kids gave it two thumbs down.
The resort as a whole has many buildings and we were impressed with the vast size! The resort itself has 32 buildings. We cannot wait to see what the resort will look like when the refurbishment is complete!
