Incredible Summer -- Walt Disney World kicks off its Incredible Summer over Memorial Day weekend, May 25-27. Highlights include Donald's Dino Bash at Animal Kingdom, Guardians of the Galaxy - Awesome Mix Live! concert series at Epcot (starts June 9), an Incredibles Dance Party at Magic Kingdom, H2O Glow Nights at Typhoon Lagoon and more.

Water Parks
Disney H2O Glow Nights -- Special lighting effects will transform the water park as Buzz, Woody and Jessie throw a Beach Party inspired by their friend, "Partysaurus" Rex. This special ticketed event will take place on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 to 11 p.m. and costs $55 for adults and $50 for children ages 3-9 (plus tax). ESPN Wide World of Sports Jr. NBA World -- The Jr. NBA World Championship will feature boys and girls divisions, each comprised of 16 regional champions (eight U.S. and eight international teams) that will receive all-expenses-paid trips to compete in the inaugural event Aug. 7-12, 2018 at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando, Fla. Located at Walt Disney World Resort, the world-class venue regularly hosts elite and recreational youth sports competitions.

Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival -- The 23rd Annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will return to Walt Disney World for 75 days, continuing its tradition of fine dining events, appearances by favorite Disney culinarians and top celebrity chefs, and a slate of concerts from favorite bands of the last few decades.

Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend -- Join the celebration and prepare to feast on an exciting menu of races during the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend presented by MISFIT! We are serving up the Disney Fall Feast 5K, Disney Wine & Dine 10K, runDisney Kids Races and the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon to cap off the weekend. Plus, runners can take on the Disney Two Course Challenge, combining the 10K and Half Marathon, to earn the coveted Challenge medal. You won't want to miss this event where there will be plenty of surprises, Disney entertainment and an exclusive Post-Race Party for runners and their guests!

D23 Destination D: Happy Birthday Mickey -- November 18, 2018, will mark 90 years since Mickey Mouse made his debut in Steamboat Willie at the Colony Theatre in New York City, and D23 is throwing a party at Disney's Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate. The event will include panels, presentations, an all-new exhibit from the Walt Disney Archives, a pop-up store from Walt Disney Imagineering's Mickey's of Glendale, and more. Additional details, including special hotel rates and ticketing information, will be announced in the coming months.

Disney Riviera Resort Opens -- Announced at the D23 Expo July 2017, "We're thrilled to announce plans for a new Disney Vacation Club property called Disney Riviera Resort coming to Walt Disney World Resort," Chapek said. "Our Vacation Club Members are among our most loyal fans, and we think that they will love what we have planned, especially the rooftop restaurant that will offer unbelievable views of nighttime spectaculars at both Epcot and Hollywood Studios."
